About The Role
Our CEO needs a business partner who can run the product and tech side of the business to build our fast-growing workplace solution that sits at the intersection of tenant experience, e-commerce and the circular economy. Check out mokkispace.com
This is a key role for Mokki : You will establish our long term Product Vision and follow up with strategy and execution. Mokki doesn’t have a big Product Team yet, so it is crucial that you have a proven track record of executing the Product RoadMap/Strategy. You will own the building of the product. You will grow the Product Team. You will also be expected to bring and spread strong Product Culture to Mokki, both in the product team and throughout the company.
That is : implicating the stakeholders in the Product Discovery/Strategy definition. And communicating this strategy to everyone involved, so that there is a solid shared understanding of what we are trying to accomplish and why.
Your Skills and Experience
10+ years of experience leading Product Management with a record of successfully delivering complex products and services
Demonstrated experience attracting, managing, developing, coaching, evaluating, and retaining staff. Ability to lead, influence, and motivate individuals and teams. Skilled in holding people accountable, establishing high standards of excellence, and stretching their abilities to perform their best work.
Curious and Empathetic by nature; able to understand client and user mindset and needs
End-to-end experience managing the product development life cycle with a proven track record of successfully launching new products and services.
Hands-on technical leader with an ability to work effectively with the Development team and manage effectively up, down, and across an organization, including global, remote teams
Effective communication skills in English and French. One language must be native/near-native and you have to be motivated to do the work to become bilingual if you are not already.
Thorough understanding of project management and agile development methodologies.
Strong knowledge of various mobile platforms (e.g. iOS, Android)
Bonus Points For
Experience founding/co-founding a startup.
B2C experience in value-proposition building with high consumer engagement (experience and/or appetite for product marketing)
Engineering background or software development experience
